Working  in Franklin and Hampshire Counties, Western Massachusetts

 Gougeon and Locke builds additions and houses, and remodels and refurbishes homes and outbuildings. We act as General Contractor for all kinds of residential and light commercial projects. We started building in 1975, and have achieved a solid presence in the area. Because we started in the rural Hilltowns, we've been asked to do lots of different kinds of projects, rather than specialize.  

We have stayed small and responsive, so you will work with and can speak to an owner any time. We love the variety of projects and customers we've taken on, and look forward to many more. We have trained many novice carpenters. We work for professors and plumbers, therapists and teachers, retirees and writers, salesmen and scientists.
